EQUAL PARTS RETREAT AND WORKSHOP, OUR GOAL FOR THIS THANG IS TO DELIVER SKILLS, CONNECTIONS AND INSPIRATION TO HELP YOU GROW AS AN ARTIST, PHOTOGRAPHER AND ENTREPRENEUR. AND THERE WILL BE GOAT YOGA AND A DANCE PARTY WITH WIGS, HELL YES.

Breakfast + Basics // technical brush up - we'll review shooting in Manual for those who need it.
Workshop I (the Skinny) // lighting, techniques, equipment, matching mood + style, finding inspiration, collaborating
Workshop II (the Boss-atini) // Entrepreneurship is no joke and no one knows that more than Sharon and Aldo Boustani. A husband and wife boss team that has been making their own pay-check for 25 years. Not without their own fears and failures, they have built themselves into industries from scratch. Be inspired by their story and tenacity that will fill you with the energy that will carry you into your own wilderness. Joined in 2017 by their daughter, Victoria who comes with an eye for growth, innovation, and strategy. As a photographer and experienced in both marketing and media content and is taking those skills to join her parents in the world of entrepreneurs. Share, ask, listen, cry together, and hustle together. That’s what the Boss-tani’s are all about.
Workshop III (the Edit) // Live edits with Rachel + Lindsay. Lightroom, Photoshop, presets, oh my! We'll go through our post shoot processes and edit images from our first two live shoots. Lots of time to answer any and all questions regarding post processing + delivery.
Breakfast + Brand // One-on-One portfolio reviews with Lindsay and Rachel to strategize and clarify your brand and your work

CREATE:

3 (yes, 3!!) live shoots. Jump start a portfolio or get some killer images to improve yours, these shoots have been carefully planned and curated, and with a setting as perfect as Gilbertsville, you won't wanna miss em.

Shoot I (Boho Boudoir + Brand) // what you get when a woodsy + wild boudoir session meets a brand commercial shoot for a lingerie company.
Shoot II (Couple's Sesh) // sunset + an adorable real couple. We’re seeing warm fuzzy vibes, running through fields + maybe a goat or two.
Shoot III (Styled Wedding) // We think two brides are better than one- don’t you agree? A same sex styled wedding filled with pampas grass, boho dresses by Lovely Bride, lush florals + so many incredible curated details from crazy talented vendors.

Headshots – Rachel and Lindsay will take headshots of each attendee. Get on the other side of the camera for a change! Strengthen your brand + freshen up your site.
